Hi,
As we all know Redmi/samsung have been known for this unwanted aggressive power saving gymnastics which always kills most of the very important processes,
When I'm uploading files to any host(in browser, as there is no dedicated apps, and even 3rd party apps like one for pixel drain is no different from using it in browser) when i stay outside the browser, in other tabs, lock screen etc., the upload process gets aborted as the tab refreshes itself.
It's been annoying to core bcos my upload speed is almost always 100-200kbps in my region, & barely touches 1.5 mbps even at max.
So when uploading a 500mb file, i need to sit down with my upload tab open for 45 minutes, and i can't even switch to other apps.
I have tried every method to stop my mobile from aggressive task killing. It doesn't really work.
So i came up with this idea of uploading to the host using API through termux, bcos termux acquires wakelock which my mobile cannot kill.
I'm not a computer science student or sth, so i have zero knowledge on coding, command prompting etc.,
Used AI's help for everything,
Made a command which when installed in termux, asks me - 1. Host site name, 2. api key, 3. choose file -
Then upload it.
while uploading it shows remaining time, current speed. Can retry infinite times when connection fails. Can upload a selected folder as album, etc.,
***Successfully made it possible for Pixeldrain & Filester uploads bcos they had API facility.***
Surprisingly, This method was actually uploading files unusually faster & didn't get killed.
But here comes the real problem, i mostly upload files to turbo.cr, as it is the most reliable & permanent host currently. So, its absolutely essential for me.
Tried doing the same method for turbo,
But i see, the API upload feature is not implemented in turbo yet.
Then i came up with the idea of logging into turbo.cr inside termux, & upload.
Using the help of AI, Tried to find how it's done, but unfortunately, none of the methods it told worked, a the site is heavily encrypted.
Is it bcos of the obvious fact that the site administrators doesn't want someone to access this method of uploading? Or it's just my skill issue? Lol
Kindly help me with this.
I just am not able to sit for 30 minutes keeping my phone screen awake for just a 500mb upload
If i can do this with any other way, kindly tell me. I don't want my mobile to kill the process when its in background.
