Well, Petter is renting out his house/studio for other productions on some website he set up so he's probably rarely there anymore, perhaps scaled down his whole operation quite a bit?
I figure you'd need a video crew and a male talent and overall a good deal more scheduling to shoot these scenes as opposed to doing just photoshoots of a single model in whatever surroundings. Some of his newer shoots look like they weren't even done in his studio so I'm guessing it's him not wanting to bother with it anymore beyond the absolute minimum.
 
Which is unfortunate because I love his visual aesthetic applied to sex acts.
