theirs only a few stars and people watching since the 4 years they have been their.
i generated my keys 3 years ago its not a fun process but i got mine simon had a bot you can click to get your keys but since the server only has the rules to see to use it youre going to have to wait
unless you make your own tool like ofdl for Passes the keys wont do anything for you
 
Thanks! It seems like it cant get my subscriptions or download any content though. Any fix?
 
you need to replace the rules.json with the one that was posted in this thread. I also had existing keys from an older version and I just copied the folder into the 1.10.5 folder.
 
I ended up just disabling hardware acceleration on chrome and recording with OBS, not as good as source files but all i got for now
 
I run windows in a VM and use OFDL just fine and everything works a treat.
Does anyone know if the metadata that's imbedded in the files that some use to track who leaks what is removed with these tools? I've uploaded some stuff and I think I'm kosher, but I did have someone message me saying they saw I uploaded something but I played dumb and it was dropped. Pretty sure it was because of something I said in the post and not that it was tracked through data in the image, but I was curious about these tools stripping things like EXIF and invisible metadata. I'm not a computer noob, I understand metadata and the like I was just wondering if someone knew if these tools mitigate the chances of that data being found by someone who's content was shared.
 
I have a Chromebook and trying to get drm protected vids on OF Can someone please guide me or know any steps to getting pass
 
I can't download any DRM content even with the keys in the cdm folder. Anyone have a fix? Thanks. Also downloaded the rules.json from the thread.
 
When I opened the OFDL classic it said
Cannot locate FFprobe; please modify config.conf with the correct path
 
download FFprobe if you dont have it and place ffmpeg.exe and FFprobe.exe in your C:\ and right click them and hide them and use the config i have gave you and itll work

use these keys for DRM

then place device_client_id_blob and device_private_key in cdm\devices\chrome_1610
then use the config copy and paste it into config file then place ffprobe.exe and ffmpeg.exe in the C:\ hide them if you dont want to see them.
open the auth file copy and paste the auth but do not save it its a template for you to replace with your auth i have linked the web.archive.org of how to do the legacy auth just follow the steps. if you cant do the legacy way
turn DisableBrowserAuth = "false" a browser will open for you to login. the legacy way for me will work 100% of them time

It says Wayback Machine has not archived the Auth when I try to download it from the "browser extension".
How do you find and create an auth.json file yourself?
 
Are people still using OFDL mine stopped working. Also OF seems to log me out and change password when I try to login to OFDL or other third party downloaders
 
i'm getting "failed" for auth.json. i've even tried downloading the Firefox extension to generate the auth.json file and still failed. Chrome doesn't work either. any solution to this?
