He just said it's Grok generated images, which never was an issue. Yes it is more annoying right this very second, but it was always easy to generated NSFW through that.
Like my man here acting like this is special, when I had celeb pics, generated through grok, working.
He himself said uploaded images don't work, which were extremely lenient. Dude has nothing to "proof".
Grok is just broken rn and I'd give it a week and just cancel subscription. Chances are that they are gonna offer sales anyway to get back customers eventually and by that time it's gonna be good again.
The value for Grok was always to me how realistic it was, while all the others are always robotic and plastic. Right now with 2.0, I don't even care about the NSFW part, because that's just temporary overcorrection, but the plastic part is the dealbreaker.
 
the new nvidia chip which is like macbook m1 so like cpu , ram ,gpu in 1 chip .Nvidia spark is its name .It has 128gb of ram (in such chips ram and vram is same) .This allows for much high vram than any current gpu .If you want to run huge ass models to generate videos or images locally without internet this is the kind of setup you want .
I will say though not being a tech expert idk how these huge companies generate images or videos in seconds ,like if you tried to create an ai image locally it takes lot more time compared to grok/ gemini .Videos takes minutes while grok can generate them in seconds . Wonder if there is a way to achieve that speed .Maybe like a mini server idk would be nice to see one soon .Hope its possible in near future .

If you are talking about DGX Spark, well, that's out since 2025.
I think we will never be able to run these good models locally in the near future. For example; some bytedance employee revealed that Seedance 2.0 is 200B parameter model. (you need at least 20 RTX 5090's to run that locally)
Even if you have the hardware to run that model locally (which would cost you at least $10000), your videos would take over an hour to generate and you would need to run your GPU all the times. (plus cooling an the electric bill)
We can run models locally like Minimax H3 and upcoming FLUX 3, but these models will never give the same quality as Seedance and Grok, since they are not heavy models.
And by the way, MMH3 got praised a lot in the open source community but for me it is a garbage model. Not worth tinkering tbh. And I have zero hopes of upcoming FLUX 3.

I discovered the "magic" of grok on October last year when it was so... SO GOOD. they got me hooked then but lost me when they did one of the first censoring seasons on feb-march I believe...
... Never came back. Its easier to forget abt it when is not available AT ALL.
 
Man, looking how things go, with all the optimization, compression and stuff, I'd stay in a year or two we'll be running models locally on a smartphone with better quality that anything possible right now. It's pretty much bound to happen, rendering all the big datacenters obsolete for the individual user - kinda like generating your own electricity via solar panels vs being hooked to a grid where it is generated by a huge power plant somewhere. The only real concern is hardware-level moderation in chips.
 
Yeah, same, but I came back in March and it was getting better and better, despite the moderation and limits. And the worst part is that my best generations happened literally two days ago, I was soooo stoked. And now it's pretty much over. I guess it's actually liberating in a sense, but as I said in my previous post, something bigger and better is looming around the corner, no doubt about that - it's just a matter of time (and some money, of course).
 
making videos from grok generated images is extremely different and easier than trying to make videos off uploaded images

As far as I can tell. Everything even slightly “colorful” gets insta moderated for both T2I & I2V.
 
They always fuck up when they release a new version but i wonder if it's permanent this time, if so it's the biggest moderation hammer i've ever seen. Just give it a few days. The new model being worse than the previous model used to happen a few times before when they introduced a new model.
 
So it seems dirty talk is clothing dependent for T2I (and completely dead for I2V). As long as she’s not topless, she’ll talk dirty, lol.
 
is the new grok imagine able to make 2K photos when editing or still only in api?
