Seedance 2.5 is launching tomorrow and multiple big API providers teased seedance 2.5 on their X pages yesterday.
Seedance's NSFW performance improved a lot since then. I remember Seedance 1.5 Pro was simply clueless when generating genitals and it's NSFW performance was trash. Seedance 2.0 however, is still kinda hit or miss when generating genitals, but still a big improvement over 1.5.
Let's see how NSFW is gonna perform in Seedance 2.5. Fingers crossed.

on grok i have an account that isnt on super, so basically cant do anything. it gave me the option to top up on credits so i put in $5 thinking i could get a few gens out of it but it seems like...nothing changed? did that just get eaten since i dont have a proper supergrok account?

A few weeks ago after it rolled out, I actually asked grok about the extra credits option. It basically said the extra credits are rated higher (more expensive) than the usage you get with a super grok subscription and the weekly usage limit you get with it. The top up credits are useful if you need to finish something actually inportant. but if you are only are using grok for imagine, then I'd say don't waste your money on the credits. Just pay for super grok and do what you can with the weekly limits.
After the update this week the moderation is more strict than it has been the last few weeks. I wasn't getting any crazy NSFW stuff the last few weeks for what I was doing, but I was still getting some decent stuff and having fun with it. Since the update this week moderation has def ramped up a bit. I'm hoping the moderation settles down a bit back to what it was last week.
 
I'm getting some NSFW Grok 1.5 level stuff from Seedance 2.0 now. I can't imagine how good 2.5 will be. Hopefully we get NSFW.
 
I wouldn't expect a big leap in quality or capability, just more prompt adherence, better reference consistency and of course the 30seconds of gen time . So the better your references the better the results. Without reference I expect you to get near identical results as 2.0
 
After full testing of all nsfw boundries. Cancelled my subscription. Grok's cookt. Its subscription model is extremely abusive. I side with amber heard now.

yes so far nothing is close. waiting for seedance 2.5 if it will come close, but not likely. Next chance to get something good is when imagine 2.0 comes out if they will create some window for uncensored
 
Unlimited Seedance 2.0 (1080p/15s - 4K/8s) offer on higgsfield looks awesome and affordable. Too bad they don't offer uncensored version of the model unlike Venice. Which makes it completely pointless.
