Ally is definitely an outlier. If you watch her video explaining her IRL situation, it's kind of understandable why she's doing it.
Sucks though, Departure II is probably one of the best ASMR videos ever put out.
 
The tldr is that she used to run the channel with her ex boyfriend but they split up. In her words, he did all of the special effects and what not. The channel revenue wasn't enough to support her and her son (not 100% of whether she's a single mom). She had to go back to work and decided to come back a couple of years ago. Basically rebranded under a new channel that doesn't soley focus on ASMR and well... it's not going so great.
It's honestly real sad, she was one of the OGs. It's like seeing Heather Feather or Ardra Neala spread em for cash.
 
I don't think it's entirely clear from the way you phrased things, so just to clarify for others, the situation you're talking about is from several years ago at this point (when she initially quit ASMR). As far as I know, she's been working a normal job in the interim years, including when she came back and launched a new channel (which she said was because she didn't want to be held to the standards of the old content iirc). I don't remember her saying she was desperate for money, but either way, even that was a few years ago. The audios she posted when she was thinking about launching her OF (and then when she eventually did) only mentioned that she was just interested in doing erotic content of some form but was nervous and didn't know if there'd be any interest. Didn't really give the vibe that she was coerced into it by her financial situation or anything. Those audios are posted in her thread.
