It depends from where you're located. I.E. in Europe there is a new law in which you must demonstrate your age and many "open" paying sites became closed because you gotta login (so they retrieve anyway your data) and solved the law issue.
Try with a VPN with other countries and you will be able to enter GHS site.

Edit: As you said, I can enter the site. But I can't seem to click on any of the small previews to get more information about the scene/nor can I actively search for the tags outside the site - the advanced category search seems to only work after you type something in the search query but it then only applies to the given search so that's not really accurate.

I guess writing the tag itself comes down the same scenes but I'm not sure, wanted to be safe. And even so, I still can't click on anything besides the search query to get more info out of a scene. Is that normal for being behind a paywall/is it a site issue/ or a VPN issue?
 
I had your very same issue and i solved with a very simple method: I used the awful vpn addon already loaded on firefox, I chose a chilean VPN (because i knew they don't have the same issue as in Europe and it worked like it did 1 year ago. I could "sail" through the pages like i did in the past.

P.S. I've tried again today and it works normally with the chilean VPN and southafrican one. I can go through the website normally. I don't know if i can post screenshot to show that it works, don't wanna break the rules.x

Not sure about it being a legit gloryhole or a studio, but i was a member a while and it was possible to apply to be in a scene. I think you had to be willing to do a test and go to Arizone if i recall correctly. I dont know what the requirements were.

I dont think most of the guys get paid that much. Would be a huge cost for the site to give 10-20 guys a big rate. Probably to cover the test and a bit more maybe idk.
