If that is the case, I’d greatly appreciate some communication beforehand. Last night was truly an unprecedented blindside that could have been mitigated.
 
You deleted the pages that exceed the 101 limit. You acted terribly toward those who have been on this forum for years. You gave no warning about the deletion. You didn't give us a chance to save or at least sort out the unwanted subscriptions.
 
how did y'all even have 100+ pages of watched threads anyway? :KEKWlaugh: I only have 5 pages and I can barely keep up with that LMAO.
 
I have 38 pages of threads with just my posts lmao. Then consider how many threads are OF/Social Media separated, discussion threads etc.
 
I log into the forum every day. Even if I subscribe to at least 3 models daily, that adds up to 1,095 subscriptions over a year. 365 x 3 = 1,095. Over three years, that becomes 3,285 subscriptions. I have been on this forum for over three years now. For most models, a thread might only be updated 3 to 5 times a year. 3,285 x 3 = 9,855 / 365 = 27.

This means that every day I get about 25–27 new threads, which fills just a single page. This is the roughest estimate; in reality, there are more subscriptions. Therefore, the 2,000 subscription limit is way too restrictive.

Yeah, no, 2000 threads is way too goddamn little.
 
Is there any news on how the 100 is selected? Is it random? Most visited? Most recently visited?
 
By the looks of things, it seems to be the 2000 threads with the most recent new replies.

Even if these are the changes moving forward I’m fine to accommodate. No heads up or warning is either a massive oversight or a lack of empathy. Either way it’s disappointing

I cleared my cache and even tried it on a different browser, both buttons were still Upload Images.
 
Of those 1500-2000 accounts, how many had more than 4000 (200 pages)? Were the bulk of users between 2000-4000 watched threads so you gathered 100 pages was the reasonable amount? Anyway petition for watch rate set at 200 pages :peepoSad:
 
When you say updates, what do you mean?

I just click watched and then look for all the ones with blue dots. I then open a new tab for all of them by page. I'll then look at them all and move to next page. I honestly wish there was a way I could select all of them and open them all in new tabs at the same time.
 
Any update as to when the alerts button will be restored under the username dropdown menu? It was mentioned a few days back that it was an easy restore. Thanks!
 
Can't remember exact stats, but >=4000 were prob 30-40% of the targeted users, there were a lot of users with 10-20-30k watched threads as well.

In about 15 minutes.
