is it possible for someone to convert this .mkv file into a mp4 file because it seems only mp4 videos play on iphone and not mkv files, i’ve already tired and i’ve had no luck
 
Is VLC avaliable on Apple Store?
EDIT: Indeed it is. Just download it and use the app. It's really good for video reproduction.
 
you have to download them and play them with HEVC. (I'm pretty sure it's HEVC I think, I did it months ago so my memory a bit shit).
