I only recently twigged that her name is a pun on Guy Ritchie. I am sharing this for the benefit of anyone who may be as daft as me.
Also, on the accent question, she said in an interview that she grew up in "a very small village south of London" - having listened to her, I'd be hard pressed to be any more specific than "home counties", but if forced to guess I'd say most likely Surrey.
