Hey, thanks for the feedback. I understand why it felt frustrating coming into the thread from page one with no previous context.
That said, the thread is not abandoned or randomly organized. The GoFile link in the first post is always updated with the newest version/s. I do not create a new download link for every update, so anything I release will be available through that same link.
The reason I do not constantly edit the first post is because
every edit has to be reviewed by the forum moderators. While it is being reviewed, the entire
thread can disappear for several hours, a full day, or sometimes even longer. Hiding the whole thread just to add one small update notice is honestly not practical.
That is why I post updates as new replies here. Updates are also announced on another platform that I cannot name here, and users who already have FI installed normally
receive an update notice inside Tensor when a new version is available.
I strongly recommend enabling notifications for this thread. I also ask people not to post random stuff here unless it is an actual issue, useful information, or an update, so checking the latest posts should normally be enough. You definitely do not need to read every single problem across all 21 pages.
About installing it through Tampermonkey: if copying and pasting the script does not work, just download the
`.js` file directly. Then open Tampermonkey, go to `
Utilities`, choose `Import from file`, select the downloaded JS file, and install it. That also avoids any issue with the userscript header being missing. (U can always use chatgpt or youtube or whatever to get these info its general info about Tampermonkey
) )
FI works on both Chrome and Firefox, as well as most Chromium-based browsers. You can import the same JS file into Tampermonkey on Firefox and it should work normally. Some options, such as
Chrome’s extension developer-mode settings, are Chrome-specific and will obviously not appear in Firefox.
Also, the
“Inject On DOM” setting mentioned in the original post was never a Tampermonkey or Chrome setting. It was a setting inside the FI tool itself
after installation.
FI originally depended heavily on
DOM injection, but that system was replaced starting around update 3. The old setting is no longer useful or supported. In versions where it is still visible, trying to enable it should show a message explaining that it is deprecated. So if you could not find it, you were not missing a browser setting the original instruction is simply from a much older version of FI.
I understand the annoyance, especially for someone who has never used Tampermonkey before, and I appreciate you explaining exactly where you got stuck. But with the forum’s moderation system, keeping the same updated download link and posting update replies is currently the most reliable way I can manage this without making the entire thread disappear every time I change one sentence.
