Porn isn't prostitution. You're selling THE IMAGE of your body, you're still in control of who you fuck with. Porn has actual companies and many more regulations and is infinitely safer for performers, esp women, than prostitution. Not the same thing.
 
You can cope in any way you choose, but if you're selling sexual acts for the intent of another's sexual gratification, it's prostitution.
Hookers/escorts on the street are in control of who they fuck in most circumstances. In the industry, you need to be a huge star to have a say in your specific partner. You can refuse acts and niches, like no BBC or anal, but only the stars can dictate to the studio the individual actors with whom they'll perform.

I'm not saying any this in a holier than thou way. I think prostitution should be legal and have rules. But I'm not going to lie to myself and pretend there's a material differentiation.
