I'm starting this thread to consolidate the topics related to Filester.me. I hope that knowledgeable users can explain it and answer some questions. I don't see everything covered yet in their site FAQ.

1. On Filester listings, I see a blue Download Folder button. How does it work? Even though I'm a registered free user I can't seem to download a folder yet. Is this a feature only available for certain members?
2. Clicking on individual file listings has been problematic. Sometimes it says the file is missing, but another attempt shows it's downloadable.

Gonna throw this issue and solution regarding not being able to see the 2FA fields here in case anyone else comes across it as well:

1. Login as per usual on the login page and hit the Login button.


2. You should see the pop-up message requiring you to enter your 2FA code.


3. Right-click the page and select Inspect and navigate to the Elements tab, look for the section with the id="twoFASection".


4. Find "display: none;" and double-click on it, change none to inline and the 2FA fields should now appear under the Password field.
 
anyone else having issues with filester not displaying thumbs properly in the forums (just endlessly load spins) and not playing videos at all?

this host started out OK but seems to have gone to complete dogshit rapidly
 
Can't create an account, view videos, or download anything. Play button goes grey, download button just loads endlessly, and the register button goes from "creating account" back to "Register" after a while.
 
I was trying to troubleshoot stuff - i thought it was from my end. I cleared my cache and cookies - and now I can't login at all. Then i decided to check if others were having issues. some links take me to a cloudflare error and others just show a grey screen where the video player is supposed to be. Then i decided to check if others were having issues and found this thread. So Ill wait till i hear back from you guys. Thanks for looking into it
 
Yep same issue here, i feel like it started after I uploaded a lot...
 
I don’t have any uploads there and experiencing same issues redirecting to cloudfare errors or refusing to load files without being logged in. Sounds like a host issue.
 
Are Filester downloads suddenly very slow for anybody else? They were downloading within minutes for me previously but as of a few days ago, a 2GB download is saying it's going to take 6 hours, and fluctuates even higher, before cutting out
 
My problem is that the upload speed is very slow. I used to upload at speeds 5-7 Mbps. Now it is down to 400 kbps. For a 7 GB file, it's going to take a while.
 
Filester is awaiting a new server because all of you gooners filled it up too fast.
 
uploaded 9 vids to an album

shows empty but says it's populated with 9 items

do I just have to wait or is this a known issue?
 
First main issue I have with filester is that file downloads time out constantly so I have to try again and again. Which likely causes more stress on the servers because instead of downloading a 2GB file I've downloaded 5GB over multiple attempts(due to issue two below). Which maybe the servers just so overloaded which causes the timeouts, personally would rather have slow and stable.

For issue two, if I'm downloading from some of the other services and they were in the rare case to timeout I can hit retry button in Firefox and it'll continue where it left off. With filester it'll immediately complete the retry download with a 13-14kb file as the end result. Which means I have to start completely over.
 
i have a problem every time i tried to download a file from ( filester ) , after the download start suddenly the download stops and i get these two messages when i tried to resume it, i tried VPN and it doesn't work too.
what is the problem here and how i can solve it ?
 
Anybody know why Filester is so freaking slow? Every other site downloads super fast.
 
Apologies the site has exploded in popularity and we're still waiting for the new cache servers.

Current 2 servers are doing 40Gbps 24x7. Cant do more than that.
 
Is there something happening with the spam filter not accepting filester links rn? I wanted to add 6 videos in a filester folder in Baby Suicide thread but I got this:


Then I added a screenshot of one of the videos and it was fine. The filester link is also working fine. Was that just me or is there something going on with filester links not getting accepted?
