Because she's compromised. It used to be a tinfoil hat thing to point out that many women in politics, and especially and particularly right wing women, were often trafficked escorts who were somehow compromised and had o be given benefits (like wages and charges) to keep them silent. But now we know this is very much a possibility with Mrs Kirk.
