What does everyone think of Emma's newest members' only video? It seems that predatory talent agencies are approaching beautiful young female ASMRtists like Emma and suggesting that they create Onlyfans accounts to develop new audiences while making more money. I know it's a first-world rich social media influencer problem, but I did feel a bit sorry for Emma. She seems like a nice girl. Emma never came across as spoiled or privileged in the video.

We unfortunately exist in a society where most people or entities with lots of money don't value women for for any creative purposes, they only value them for their beauty, sexuality, and physical allure. Creative, intelligent women often struggle to find success due to lack of financial support, making it much easier for agencies or rich men to exploit them into a more sexual direction. Many women fall into it, and only the ones with truly strong moral compasses or aversion to putting their sexuality on display are able to avoid exploitation. It's sad, really. Sex work should be an informed decision on the woman's part, made out of an innate desire to be openly sexual or garner wanted male attention. So many women nowadays do sex work out of sheer desperation for money, success, or fame, and you can always tell when that's the case. I'd rather they be doing it for the love of the game.

I mean we all want shit for free but are we supposed to be surprised their was a catch? Or that people want to see beautiful girls take off their clothes? I don't think it necessarily diminishes their other achievements but lets be real here: being an asmr creator isn't much of an achievement. Seems like a classic story of "naive person realizes other people would use/abuse you for their benefit", sad story but I think we've all been there.

I feel like there is already a lot of crossover between ASMR and NSFW content so it doesn't seem that outrageous to me. 🤷‍♂️ Let's not pretend that "career path" wasn't already on the average asmr creators mind. It's a bit much to act so offended IMO.

Emma does have seem too offended. She handled the disappointment relatively well. I like that the younger generation of ASMRtists aren't afraid to criticise fellow creators with Onlyfans accounts for ruining the public image of ASMR. She expressed frustration with them too. Good for her.
