Sometimes, streamers come up with some dumb excuse to either throw a pity party or pretend to be sharing a positive moment, and that is all to further ignite the parasocial flame. Chatters present themselves in the way they want others to see them, just like streamers do. And because streamers are aware of this dynamic, they have no reason to trust some random viewer with anything, let alone share actual feelings and struggles with a bunch of strangers online, especially if they know it's all attention seekers if not gooners stopping by because there's a pretty face/tits on the screen.
