nor lebanese, neither half. she is full blood palestinian from muslim background. she is muslim too but only nominally and a very secular kind. in this video she explains the struggle of palestinians.
 
Is she really? I saw a few places where it was mentioned that she had a Lebanese father and a white American mother. No idea where they got that idea then.
 
Her parents migrated because of war with Israel to Lebanon. Then to America. Her features are not uncommon for Palestinians, Lebanese and Syrians namely Levantines. She may not fit the cliche Arab or Middle Eastern prototype for an American or a European because of the media portrayal. That's probably why they whitewashed her and said "half". And made her Lebanese because half of Lebanon is Christian.
