I don't want to be that guy, but we all know that OF is full of liars and scammers. I would take this with a rather large grain of salt. There are so many 'creators' that will disappear for long periods of time, run out of money (or whatever reason they provide), and come back with a sob story. Based on her body language, I don't believe a word and think its a ploy to get people back subbing. That's just my thoughts anyway

I remember some pics from her reddit account where her abusive boyfriend dislodged her front tooth. So it wasn't just the spine, unfortunately...
 
She talked openly on Reddit how it was fairly recent but she didnā€™t report him because she couldnā€™t handle the process while in the hospital. Reconsidering now evidently. Seems like this likely occurred around when she purged everything from past accounts.
 
Hopefully she does, people like that don't stop and he'll just go do it to someone else.
 
The first C in CNC stands for CONSENT. I don't know anyone who'd consent to getting their spine broken

Based on the video and the Reddit post's comments, the situation 95% sounds like coercive domestic violence to me. It is a somewhat serious criminal offence and could be sentenced to up to 7 years in Aus. Not sure how it's processed in the US since it varies by state, but breaking the spine(serious injury) will likely contribute to a felony charge.
 
The situation is indeed quite tricky. Perhaps she should start by seeking counsel from a psychiatrist. Given the limitations, she could not disclose the whole truth to her family. Consulting a law firm would also be quite essential, and they should honour confidentiality.
On the topic of blackmail, the act of dissemination of explicit material, with the intent to intimidate or coerce, is a criminal offence, in Aus at least. Should her ex attempt such actions, the court would likely take serious consideration when determining an appropriate sentence. It could be another felony charge in the US, judging from what I know.

But before I do, Iā€™d like to chime in on a couple of things.
If youā€™re surprised Iā€™ve gone right back to all of the cnc stuff, donā€™t be. Iā€™m reclaiming a part of myself that was continually ridiculed and judged. My ex was incredibly unaccepting of that side of me, and wasnā€™t kinky in the least. My various injuries have had nothing to do with sex or kink. He was just very, very verbally and eventually physically abusive. The fractured spine happened about 10 weeks ago. He slammed me on the epoxy floor during a fight, and I have two bad compressions fractures of the L1 and T12 vertabrae.
Iā€™ve had no followeup treatment, just the initial ER visit because he wouldnt get me to my appointments and I relied on him for everything including transportation. (He wouldnā€™t let me have a job, or Iā€™d have my own vehicle.) Now im in another state and awaiting insurance to be approved so that I can finally see a specialist. Itā€™s a whole thing. And to clarify, yes, my family knows about the abuse, they are extremely supportive of my healing and tried so hard to get me away from him, they just donā€™t know anything about my online shenanigans. (Letā€™s keep it that way haha)
Anyways, I can see that a lot of you have kept up with me and care about me in some sort of way, and for that I just want to say thank you so much. You donā€™t know how much it really means to me. šŸ–¤

From what I know about the topic, not necessarily. Like, yeah, in some cases, yes, but in others the exact opposite happens and victims will instead cling even more into this type of fetishes as a coping mechanism.
I don't think that is even the case, though. I don't think she is lying and I don't think she became more into this content because of this experience either. It's more like the other way around: she was always into CNC, which might stem from some underlying issue or trauma she has, and this same trauma is what led her to be attracted to and date a guy who was abusive.
 
That whole situation is absolutely horrible and I'm sorry you've had to go through it. Wishing you a speedy recovery, physically and emotionally. Super happy your family is being so supportive! Medical debt sucks and insurance is a scam, so hope you figure all that out soon and get the right specialist to help šŸ™
