This isn't the first time I've heard this. I believe you are correct.

From a business perspective, he's done well to shoot many scenes, load them in a funnel (what we refer to as the goon locker), and slowly drip feed them out to the audience.
Make no mistake, this guy while on camera looks and behaves like an animal, he is extremely intelligent and likely has diversified his profit into other investments for him to just enjoy this as a hobby.

As for whether or not he’s a lawyer, I recall someone mentioning that one of the many videos he didn't release was a roleplay video; he decided against publishing it after consulting a lawyer who advised him not to. If he were a lawyer himself, he wouldn't need to consult anyone and would know perfectly well which content could get him into trouble.
However, I do think he’s a guy with enough money that making videos is a secondary activity rather than his main source of income—which is why he doesn't operate the way the others do.
 
Different types of Lawyers, and even so, its in his best interest to not just make self reprenstation decisions.
I believe I somewhat recall this being brought up in the original ADT thread. He was actually somewhat active there as well and very enthusiastic about the Studio and getting into the game and making a name for himself. This is very early on and very much had no clue that he was about to get the Adriano treatment lol.
