Demetria Obilor is a well-known traffic ensemble anchor from ABC’s Channel 8 in Dallas, TX. She made waves in 2017 when her response to being body shamed on Facebook went viral. With a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Kansas, she worked as a production tech for KSHB-TV before becoming their traffic reporter. Before joining Channel 8, she was also a traffic reporter for KLAS-TV in Las Vegas.
