Damn, awkward for sure. TBH I never really thought the creators would go through these forums, but that was incredibly ignorant on my part. Its common knowledge all public figures go down the rabbit hole reading the comments and opinions of the public, this post helped me connect more dots in that matrix.

I can say that their content (Savvy's was the first I found and remains my most applicable) helped me unsupress childhood trauma I went through. Their themes are mostly consistent with my experiences. I am a successful, married middle aged man by any measure and not what I would feel is the stereo-typical consumer (possibly more ignorance on my part). The ability to 1. acknowledge what happened to me, 2. work through the feelings (shame, anger, excitement) with help and 3. apprise my wife of things has been incredibly liberating and healing.

In the end, thanks to this community and the creators, I am a better human.

I say this allll the time. Verbally, Xev used to say “kiddo”, “little boy” in a few of those older vids. But more than that (and this goes for MOST creators) are the camera angles. A lot of them used to have the camera pointed 45 degrees up while they were looking down at us. Either we’re all little people, or they’re implying a significant age gap. A lot of people chew Fiona for using numbers in her ap, which are all old as hell now, but have absolutely nothing to say about their favorite creators and their heavily implied ap (which is literally EVERYWHERE and all throughout their videos if you go back far enough).
