are people this stupid, let me gift myself subs that will make me rich.... I know you have to spend money to make money but gifting yourself is just losing money period. I can see it doing it so a train train does die out but you can't do that in big quantity.
 
The idea is that they manufacturer a following, for advertisers but like you said that worked in the old days when social media was new. In the modern world its just a old way to throw money away and inflate ones popularity to maintain artificial relevance.

Pretty pathetic in all honesty, but it seems that is what all streamers do now.
 
Learn how peoples viewership looks on a chart when they are using bots. Then compare that to the cinnathon (beg-athon). Then form an opinion.
 
most of her gifted subs came from her usual viewers if you looked at her stream during the month, in any case you can't just use your own money to gift yourself subs, just hoping you would get more money from sponsors. Twitch taking 30% then the tax you have to pay for it.
Sponsors used to pay a lot more than they do now well depends on the streamer I guess but male streamer always get the best paid sponsor.
if you look at women streamer that have really made a lot of money, I can't even think of 5 well for NA.

It was wild how obvious her viewbotting for it was. She was doing no content and having more viewers than her normal high engagement content streams.

All subathons get more viewers than a person's normal stream, that's the whole point. Using her numbers after it ended as evidence for viewbotting is almost as dumb as caring about it in the first place.
 
Her numbers and graphs were pretty natural tbh. They went up and down depending on what was going on. And typically were the highest during the main segments of the day. Like of course when she's doing a big event instead of just doing a desktop and playing RP her numbers are lower. She hasn't done an IRL in a month

here's a thought, sponsors pay out their deals via subs. Viewer counts will always be higher during a subathon, speculating view bots is a bit silly. A lot of streamers viewbot, it is what it is.

The more interesting part, is how for a lot of these subathons, the massive gifters always come from new or recent follow accounts. For these large streamer subathons, I have a hunch that these sponsors or other payouts are happening via gifted subs. Because it's a TOS grey area and it benefits the streamer more than a check. so imagine bang agreed to plaster their brand all over the house and overlay for 30 days straight. For streamers as large as cinna, and definitely kai...that's worth at least thousands of gifted subs. Marketing is expensive as a mother fuck. Adn these drones will buy out a gas station to drink whatever their streamer drinks.

At the end of the day, subathon or not- cinna makes a fuck ton of money from streaming. and to the guy that said 100 gifted subs only paid out to 2-3 bucks for the month...You're literally full of shit, unless those gifted fell onto the next and not current pay period or if the guy reported the charge and tried to reimburse it.

TLDR: cinna is not poor
