VTuber Simp Chat Cheri Valentina Discussion Thread

It's not that deep. She's aware of her own bad habits, understands why management put those restrictions, and is trying to hold herself back before going off the "deep end". You know, I know, and she knows that she will probably mess up and would rather do it later than sooner.
Yes? That's why she's trying to set boundaries? To keep her and her chat in check? That whole announcement spawned bc the server was getting too ahead of itself. Did you expect her to encourage it with her history of a stalker?
That was part of the first announcement. . . This was her saying how far the "relationship" would go. It's like memorizing things about celebrities that pop up everywhere - far and away from being "friends". If you want to be remembered or affect the direction of her content go take part in her community.
If y'all are going to assume malicious behavior on her end and build resentment why even bother? Y'all are getting upset over the most standard stuff. You're accounts are older than mine you've certainly seen the results of waiting and slow boiling the women I shouldn't even have to list them. Relax, give it time and/or watch something else in the meantime. Theres valid critiques then theres hate watch circle-jerking. Got me white-knighting, unbelievable. I expected this from the parasocial chatters in her ear.

It was subs only though she initially started the stream as open in the first couple minutes before remembering to switch.

Was always interested to see new content from her and was hoping for better now that she is "not under agency" I'm not optimistic with the vod upload of hers being censored meaning whatever was shown probably lost media

She's laid out all her boundaries and how far she'll go with content and what we'll be getting is the exact same as we got while she was corpo. Its pretty clear that whatever caused her and the agency to part ways wasn't over content.

Like I said before, we'll likely never get the full picture. Everything we have up til now is purely on a speculative basis, and there's little to nothing to speculate about.

Somehow her content is going to be worse than it was when she was Mio. She had no drive to attempt to censor her streams then when asked. Whoever has influence over her current direction (betting hyper parasocial dhampir and/or her other favorites) has fucked everything up, her leaving eroi was supposed to make her streams lewder not worse.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure she retained the same manager she had during E-roi so she's probably still getting the same guidance/content direction even with more freedom. occam's razor and all that.

Yeah I don't think her fans are as influential as some of you guys think, or if they are, it's only a little bit. Her manager has the most influence, so if y'all want someone to blame, it's the manager. I imagine things would've been different if the ones with the biggest pockets has the most say in the way she does her content.

Tbh I'm kinda lost on what's censored as I haven't watched the vods. Only slips that I recall occuring were PL mentions that she said she'd edit and even those were minimal

Basically mofos were expecting her to go even harder on the parasociality AND the lewdness after being fired - but her manager quit right alongside her, so even though she cranked the parasociality up, she STILL has Jiminy Cricket up her shoulder, which means the parasocial aspect, the lewdness aspect, or the burnout aspect are unlikely to be the reason she was terminated as everybody was speculating so far.
Content remains more or less the same, except for regular stream limitations and general content because indie.

I honestly think she just didn't get along with the other talents and that there were conflicts behind the scenes, ever since she left the rest of them have seemed closer together and have more collabs planned.

Ehhhh, more or less. If you squint a little what is happening is that Vixie absorbed the part of her fans that didn't follow her into indie life, had to reinforce her boundaries and content expectation as a result, slowed down cosplay pics, and more or less started filling Mio's niche with both collabs outside of the company (with how Mio used to collab with Myra), and by bringing her closer to Ruri in a similar way they used to collab.
Lumi still streams 3 times a week and outside of that one League collab, Devana is still mostly MIA. Vixie and Lisera remain the 2 people putting constant content corpowide, and Lisera remains the only one doing any sort of actual gooning with a frequency better than maybe 2 times a month like Ruri.
So all in all, what it feels is that they incentivized Vixie to fill Mio's shoes to SOME extent, Ruri to stream more than gacha with the occasional ASMR relay, and that's pretty much all that changed. Devana was in 2 collabs recently, but otherwise had no drastic change in content.

I'm...kinda conflicted in believing that. She seemed to get along well with Vixie, even did a RPlay collab with her, and she doesn't seem like the type to start fights with anyone. At most, she's neutral towards her former peers. No beef, but no desire to get close.
Then again... I remember how angry she can get if that one lost media RPlay stream is anything to go by, so maybe...

Lumi has been pretty consistent with hers and has only missed like 2 of her weekly gooning streams since debut, but yeah the others definitely need to up their nsfw.
I think it was mostly because of Vixie, that girl is crazy outgoing and seems to be able to mesh with anyone. I can definitely see Mio/Cheri having a bit of an ego and being a lot to deal with. I know she used to message Lisera in the middle of goon streams to ask stuff like "is it normal to bleed while using a toy?" and other things like that while Lisera was also in the middle of a stream.

That's less about being malicious or disruptive and more like her being slow and inexperienced.
There's also the fact that Lisera is the closest girl to upper management, and it became clear after a while that most of their managers don't really have much experience with the R18 side of things.
I kind of applaud E-roi for trying to do something more organized than VAllure which was basically a handful of people and upper management being Stronny, but it does feel sometimes that they thought they'd be OK with becoming a vtubing agency because they already have a distributing and merch business. In truth, it shows they've underestimated the vtubing business A LOT.

The year is 2026, and big suits are still not understanding how to run a Vtuber company properly.

Is she basically the Stronny of E-roi? Did she help found the agency and takes part in running it?
