Tools Chaturbate / Stripchat Stream Recorder

Anybody know if CB password shows work with ctbrec provided I do know the password? Like if I have it running on my computer and then enter the correct password on the same account, but from my phone or another device, will ctbrec pick up on that and start recording?

Edit: I guess another question is if it will even register them as online if they're in a password show?
 
You can use stream recorder HLS for recording straight from a browser (chrome)
 
Is there a way to stop WSR from defaulting to a lower quality for the rest of a stream when there's any possible lag? This been a on going issue
 
I tried recording direct to mp4 in the past using ctbrec, for the most part it works but when there's an issue its a real pain in the ass to fix.

Its better to record in ts and then post process it to properly change to mp4.

  • Leave the file extension and ffmpeg parameters in the recorder setting as default i.e. ts
  • Go to the Post-Processing section in settings
  • Click the small + button to the top right of the empty list.
  • Choose remux/transcode
  • FFmpeg parameters: -c:v copy -c:a copy -movflags faststart -y -f mp4
  • File extension: mp4
That records the file as a ts and then when finished changes it to mp4 that will play (scroll) better than just renaming a ts file as mp4
 
In WSR, it's very easy to change the output video format:
1. Click on Settings.
2. On the “Recorder” tab, select ‘MP4’ from the “Default Video Container” drop-down menu.

Another option, which I personally recommend, is to select “TS” as the format in the drop-down menu and check the “Remux to mp4 when finished” box. This way, the streams are recorded in TS, which is more robust against errors, and are automatically converted to MP4 when finished.

For #2, I noticed yesterday that there are places for your login info for each site in the settings. I'm assuming this is how you record privates, private spies and hidden/secret/group/etc. shows? Also, I'm assuming this is safe and your login info doesn't get sent to the creator of the app or something shady like that?

And thanks for the advice for #3, I didn't realize you could just copy and paste the URLs into CTB.

Is there any chance you could share the default ffmpeg parameters? Because I changed mine and I don't see a way to restore default. Or should I just select TS for the "optional ffmpeg preset" above "ffmpeg parameters"?

And yeah, the reason I normally don't want mkv and ts files is because of the scrolling issue you mentioned, though so far the mkvs created with CTB seem to scroll just fine, so that's nice.

Also, I'm curious, is what you described in the post I quoted the settings and method that you use to record? Or just the best way to get mp4 files? I would honestly rather just do whatever you do since you seem to be somewhat of an expert.
 
In WSR is there a way to set it to only record VR? A minimum quality setting would be a way to achieve this as VR resolution is a lit higher than regular
 
Yes, you can filter online rooms to only show VR streams using the tag "VR" tag (looks like that tag is not worlking on version 3.11.1 but will be fixed for next release).

To make WSR record only the VR 3D stream, go to settings->Site, click on a site, and select "VR 3D Streams" in the dropdown "Record VR streams as" (see attached image)

I've filtered by 'VR 3D Streams', but recordings still pick up 2D content when a model temporarily switches from VR to 2D. This can result in parts of the VR stream being missed when they switch back as 2D continue to specified split time.

It would be helpful if recording automatically paused whenever VR is turned off and resumed when VR returns as models who normally stream in VR but are currently doing a 2D show get picked up by the recorder.

Hi Guys a newbie here just wanted to ask how can i use spicy cut let me explain first, for example i have merged the stream which recorded using cbtrec and then from that large stream i want only NSFW parts from the whole stream like if her boobs must be showing or her pussy either of one cam spicy cut be used to get only those NSFW parts from the whole stream if yes then how ? Please take little time if possible. Thank You
 
It's very easy.
Run SpicyCut.exe.
1. Click on the button "Select" of the field "Video file path" to open the video file you want to process.
You can leave the default options for the other parameters, but if you want to know more about what those parameters do, click on the "( i )" buttons of the parameters.

2. Click on the button "process" to start the appanalyzing and cuttig the video removing "boring parts". Open the folder where your vide is and you will find a new video with onlky the NSFW scenes.

 
Hi everyone. Could someone help me out if they know the answer? The thing is, ctbrec works perfectly for me, but I don't understand why certain models (e.g., luvlivvyy, informal_) don't show up in ctbrec for recording when they're live. I'm not sure if I need to change a setting or if a specific version of ctbrec fixes this. Thanks in advance. Cheers.
 
Hi question for WSR. In Stripchat there is a sub thingy that can let you spy on private shows for a monthly sub. Is there something i need to tweak in the setting so that it will also be recorded when they go to a private show ?
 
So just to confirm, are they showing up in their respective cam platforms so that you can add them to your recording list, or are they not visible to even attempt recording in the first place?

If you can't find them in ctbrec, you can just enable ctbrec to record based on urls in the clipboard. If you've already added them to download but they specifically won't record, then that'll be something else and would likely require reading your logs
 
You see, the thing is, I've noticed that some models don't even show up for the recording. I know they're live because if I go to Chaturbate, I can see them broadcasting, but they aren't even visible on ctbrec; and I don't know why this happens. Thanks for the help.
 
Ok, so have you tried using the clipboard method? Copy the girls entire stream url and turn on clipboard monitoring on ctbrec in the General section of settings. It should automatically grab the url and add them to your list.

Alternatively, give WSR a try and see if they show up there
 
It is my understanding based on previous posts that despite a newer version of WSR it still is not picking up Stripchat streams. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Cheers 🥂
