Tools Chaturbate / Stripchat Stream Recorder

For Stripchat where you're a Fan at the right level, do you need to join the room the one time to then get recording? Or is there a way to snipe the stream without having joined the spy-room?
I seem to be getting "model is not online" or equivalent when they go into private.
I seem to also be logged in correctly as its showing token balance etc / loads up browser when i click "get tokens" etc
 
Yes. Go to Settings-->Postprocessing and add a new group of postprocessing tasks. In that group include "Strore recording on Telegr@m" and "Delete original video" (in that order).

Is there anybody else having trouble recording Stripchat on WSR?
I try adding the model to start recording and it gives me a warning message "(model) appears offline on stripchat", with the model online on public cam. I have to try a lot of times until it starts recording.
Tested it on version 3.9.10 and 3.10
 
Are you using a VPN or a firewall on your PC? If you don't, can you please share the log so I can try to figure out why is not working for you?
 
Hi im having the same problem with recording LL-HLS videos because i have to use VPN (chaturbate is banned in my country). Do you know of any way to stop it from recording in tiny chunks? Maybe increasing the latency somehow? Ive tried ctbrec 5.4.6 and WSR 3.9.10 and im running linux mint if that makes a difference.
 
Are you using a paid VPN or free? If paid, you might just have to IP hop until you find one that is stable and have you tried recording other sites to confirm it's ONLY CB that has issues?
 
I started using this program (version 3.10).
Some videos seems to suffer from a very peculiar stutter: the image freezes every 2-3 seconds or so, for about 1 second and then the video starts to plays from the now current time, and this process just repeats. The audio never cuts off, though.
Any ideas?
 
Im using a nearby free proton vpn server and i've confirmed that stripchat and other sites that use regular HLS work okay even through vpn.
I tried to attach a speedtest sc but i'll just type it out. Ping 42, download 842 and upload 338
 
Maybe try using the other ctbrec build which uses date instead of version numbers for it's naming scheme
 
Off the top of my head I can't recall if there's one for macos though I believe there is. For Linux there definitely is, search for the CTBRec disk hoarde server, all the up to date versions and change logs are posted there as well as better help than you can expect from here (no offense).
Honestly I don't know why it's not in the OP, it's the official hub for the program now. Kinda silly imo.
 
Yeah, the issue is that a lot of people here don't use discord, including me. We just hope that the people that do, will be a hero and post the latest updated versions of CTBRec for all operating systems, here. 😁
