Screen recording works in a pinch if the vid is played in original quality. If you disable hardware acceleration in the browser you can record DRM vids.
In Chrome: uncheck "graphics acceleration", in Firefox: uncheck "Use recommended performance settings" then uncheck "Use hardware acceleration". Restart the browser
OBS is the best way to screen record. LosslessCut if you want to trim the beginning/end of the vid
