im sorry im so lost here lol, I see like 5 different names getting tossed around, vizi, Alice, boople, occam, etc. are they all the same person?? whats the lore, why does she never post anymore?
 
Alice is Boople__snoot’s name, which is what she used while she posted on OF. Vibri/Violet are the names she adopted after abandoning that identity once she joined up with the creator of the online comic, Homestuck, and was given the job of managing its community.
She doesn’t post anymore on her OF or other, prior accounts because she doesn’t want it to interfere with her Homestuck responsibilities, or her new life in general. She also said she had trouble dealing with people obsessed with her while operating as Boople, and has done pretty much everything in her power to keep herself separated from that past life. Which hasn’t amounted to much since everyone in know recognizes that Vibri = Alice lmao, but whaddya do.
In other news she posted a photo with her hand in it the other week, so besides those photos of her in a full bodysuit cosplay that’s the absolute most we’ve seen of her actual self in forever.
 
Does anyone have the tweet from the Vibri account that confirms she's BoopleSnoot? It was already crazy learning that Hussie groomed her (in the non-traditional sense), but is she for real Vibri?? The GhostArchive link isn't loading the images for me.
Vibri is somewhat infamous in the Homestuck community now for talking like a villain in Discord DMs about certain other community figures and overall continuing a super unprofessional tone for the Homestuck """brand""" that is trying desperately to become professional now that Hussie has decided he's interested in the IP again. She always goes to bat for Hussie in any scenario no matter how bad he looks. It'd be crazy to learn that this lady I've gooned to (and enjoyed her drawings) is now a highly important and highly controversial figure in the fandom.
 
I could’ve sworn someone screencapped her posts in relation to that alleged ex-friend who posted about her, but I’ve turned everything upside down and haven’t found it so idk. And obviously she deleted them long since. But the fact that she made all her Boople-related X accounts private right after that whole debacle serves as enough, like FAR more than enough proof that she is Vibri lmao. It’s plain as day.
And of course she’s gonna go to bat for Hussie; she’s desperately trying to live the dream of working on her favorite piece of media in existence directly with its creator. But they’re just busy putting any and all efforts to scrub her past from the internet up on a billboard by throwing lawyers at people who talk about it, like that tumblr user who apparently had ICE knocking on her door after Hussie sent the cops after them lmao. All that in addition to whatever else constitutes the ratfuck foundation of drama upon which Homestuck is built.
Anyway it’s been talked about up and down, six ways through Sunday in this thread. And at this point if anyone doesn’t believe she’s Vibri it’s just absolute, willful ignorance lmao like it could not be anymore obvious.
 
Sorry for the double post; wasn't quite sure how to add images via editing. But I found her X posts from that day in which she mentions making her other account dark alongside her OF activity.
 
i'm not saying they're free of blame, but personally i think they're putting too much blame on the homestuck fandom for stalking them when really it seems more like fans of their OF stalk them more, but it seems like they have some mental lock preventing them from saying that they didn't like doing OF or didn't like the attention it brought or only did it out of necessity, if that's the case. Like they never directly addressed why they stopped doing OF, and even though I came up with all the likely reasons earlier in the thread, idk it's still frustrating not hearing an answer from the primary source. I think part of me just wants the catharsis of either them coming back, or them admitting that they didn't like it or got tired of it. Like just having that type of closure.
 
They didn't have ICE knocking on that tumblr person's door lol the concern was that her family wouldn't open the door to the police serving a restraining order because they were worried it mighty be ICE
 
Nah homestuck fans are fucking wild , I don't think I've ever seen a more parasocial fandom in my life. A little while back Hussie posted a google doc about a bunch of stuff but the one thing that stuck out to me is some Homestuck fan found what hospital his dad was in (his dad was incredibly sick at the time and later died) and decided it was a great idea to go to the hospital and ask Hussie's dad about homestuck. So no wonder Alice is more worried about homestuck fans stalking her than her own, as far as I know nobody who's subbed to her OF have tried to contact her family members. I think it's clear that Alice stopped doing OF because she got the opportunity to work with Hussie, wether or not she likes doing OF is irrelevant since she of course who choose working with the creator of her favorite series over OF, still I agree I'd rather hear it from Alice herself and get some kind of closure.

She started streaming with a pngtuber setup; sort of neat to hear her voice again, if anything. I doubt she’ll use it very often beyond finishing Deltarune, if she even ends up doing all the chapters, but we’ll see.

I wish every cosplayer-turned-streamer out there could just realize that they don't need to act like a child walking into their parents' room with pea soup on their chin saying "i frode up ):" to get out of school anytime they don't want to stream. It comes off as far less genuine than simply saying "no stream today!" and leaving it at that; there's no need for an excuse regardless of its veracity.
But yeah basically if she's already pulling this card after one (1) day we're never getting a stream again lmao.
 
Here's some clips from the streams if anyone is interested, I wouldn't say we're never getting another stream since it's still too early to tell. Oh and your wrong Alice streamed the day before yesterday too so technically it's 2 days
 
Yeah I mean that was hyperbole, she'll probably stream again at some point. But I'd be shocked if she maintained any sort of consistency with it, like between this and opening an Artfight page (here, but you need an account to see it) it feels like she's in some sort of manic phase of creativity that's only going to last so long. Given I would love to be wrong about all of this, but considering how most of this discussion thread pre-Vibri-era consists of people complaining about how irregular she was with posting OF content it's not exactly outside her wheelhouse to be inconsistent with her online presence lmao.
Screencap of her Artfight page, basically a site where you can 'challenge' other artists to draw your characters and such. She originally posted a link to it on X and deleted it shortly thereafter but I managed to snag it in time.
 
Honestly I'm just glad she's streaming at all, I wasn't following her when she regularly stream so I missed out on all her old streams. While I wouldn't call myself a artist there's definitely been times where I too have had creative bursts and yeah I can take a long time for me to get back to whatever projects I was working on when that creative burst is gone . Hopefully Alice's little creative bursts lasts for a bit since I'd love to see her stream more often and I'm curious on what she'll post to her artfight page
