Anyone think she's gonna go nude in this movie? I'm wondering how serious she's actually taking this role lol.

I’ve seen a few people try to suggest that this movie HAS to have nudity if it plans on being a faithful adaptation, but I don’t really know where they’re getting that from. There is one sex scene in the book but it isn’t overly explicit or descriptive, and nudity is scarce otherwise, the only real notable case is male nudity.
The chances of us seeing something that we haven’t seen already are literally zero, and if she does get “nude” it’ll be implied only.
 
Well there's a couple of nude scenes in the book, it just isn't supposed to be sexual.
 
I haven't read The Bell Jar so I'm not claiming to know how much/what kind of nudity is featured, but regardless I'm like 99% sure she won't be nude. If she were some unknown actress, then maybe. But A-list actresses/celebrities are rarely shown naked (outside of art/foreign films). There's a lot of reasons why Billie specifically is even less likely to have a nude scene.
If there is a nude scene, it'll probably be a body double.
I hope I'm wrong.
 
This is my thinking. While it is not impossible, I think it is winning the lottery levels of unlikely we see her bare tits and it is best to not get your hopes up. Having said that there is nothing I'd like more.
 
Im just seeing all these social media post talking about how "ballsy" this role is. Especially for her. So brave for her first role. In my mind if she's not showing titties then what's the point in all this hype for this movie lmao.
 
I'm just tired of seeing the New Post notification on her content thread when it's just more extremely family safe social media nonsense. Do these posters not understand what the point of this forum is?

Nope. Best we've ever found is her bikini pics but even those weren't all that great.
 
I think they are referring to it being a difficult role to pull off for a novice actor. I have never read the book but it is my understanding that the character's mental health declines as the story goes on and she becomes more unlikable and unstable.
 
im honestly happy if we get some bra and underwear stuff tbh, nude is very unlikely but would love to see her tits in a bra
