I can see if from both sides. From Bettie’s POV I can understand why she delisted some of the older clips. I completely agree she has way more fans today than she did 10 years ago. And I among others would live to see those older clips. And I think a lot of people would buy them. Personally I like to see the evolution of creative growth over the years. Watching Hooker/Initiation back to back was a fun experiment.
FinalIy I think a happy solution is to post some old stuff to LF and OB. I know she did some very risque OB things but also some very basic things LF. And the fans would really appreciate seeing those older clips.
Now excuse me while I water my garden...
 
One compromise I like that I have seen other girls do is place all the videos that might be deleted into a mega compilation so hardcore nerds can see but the average dude scrolling through her videos wont readily see when they sort videos from oldest to newest.
 
I definitely understand why she's deleted vids over the years. At a minimum it has to be a pain to continue managing a growing catalog, especially if none of it is selling. I can only speak from my selfish perspective. For me, an analogy is a band that's been around for many years. The have a deep catalog of music/albums/CDs/etc. They have a large fanbase. If I didn't have a copy or copies of some of their older stuff and later found out about it, searched for it but found out they were deleted and couldn't find them, I'd be bummed. I get it's not the same with music but it makes the general point. Sure, their current music could be better (or not) but having their early content expands my enjoyment of who they were and how they matured/evolved over time.
The reason I brought this up was because of how much more YV permits and thought some of her early vids might be allowable. We know for sure they'll never show up on MV, C4S, OF or LF again.

Could be copium, but I don't get the sense that she is gearing up to retire. While her output has certainly decreased post-kid, her effort and video quality has stayed at a level I would expect for someone who still wants to stick around. I really hope her mindset has stayed close to the one she had around the time of this tweet.

Of course, this was some years ago, and things change, so who knows where she is now. Also, the fact that she updated the background on her personal website seems like a weird thing to do if you are about to ride off into the sunset. Xev's retirement has been all but announced for some time now, so I'd be surprised if anyone thought her saying "I'm Done" recently came out of nowhere. With Bettie, I feel like quitting now would be quitting mid GOAT era.
I hope Bettie is here for a good while longer. No one in porn does it for me quite like her.
 
Yeah Xev's video quality and output really took a nose dive the year before she "retired" she went from uploading a few vids a month to taking 4 months to release a single clip that had a million cuts like she was trying to shoot an action movie.

After she announced her pregnancy Bettie did a Q&A on IG. Basically she said making videos is her job and she can't afford to live in a single income household. Also she did say she will retire one day but not for a while. And I'm curious to see what kind of videos a 50 year old Bettie would make.
 
If she could progress to Seka Black or Foxxy Darlin territory that would be the goal, for me the viewer.
 
Over the years, the audience may change, and she might not get as many video sales as before. She may do some collaborations. Will she stay as a solo POV creator, or like try other things, like Kelly did, if she wants to?
I thought solo creators usually stay solo until they retire, but what Kelly did. I like the way Xev did and want that bettie also go same way.
