Question Best tool to download from instagram?

There exists a fix for this now. On the Github issue on gallery-dl related to this, some guy wrote a patch to fix up the API change. See here. If you download the patch and apply it to the git checkout he uses, it will work if you use the
Code: 
-o extractor.instagram.api=graphql
parameter.

This change hasn't been pushed to the main repo yet by the dev, but I expect it will be soon enough, or some variant of it will be.
 
That only works for wall posts though (at least according to the poster), extraction still fails for reels.
Download still works just fine, just the extraction that is failing.
 
Paging Klipze. Is there any update down the pipeline? This was a fantastic profile scrapper for the months it worked.
