Ah, it's just because of the true content drought. If she started selling tits again tomorrow, the theories would dry up immediately lmfao. At the end of day we'll never really know who she is. She is interviewed around 1h37 in. Without going too deep, PDoom is her belief that AI will kill us in a few years, which she says is around 33%. The host says 50%

Rationalism is not entiiiiirely weird. The creator did not intend much of what followed. But it attracts vulnerable neurodivergents and has had numerous dangerous splinter cults ie Zizians, Black Lotus. And the "good ones" often think like Ozymandias at the end of Watchmen or the Silo Founders and would be ok killing billions if it will get humanity to Mars faster.

I myself am anti-AI, generally, but these people... the apocalypse doomerism is more theoretical effective altruism nonsense than anything provable. And their Bible is literally a Harry Potter fanfiction and the authors BDSM blog. Tech bros have become the new Scientologists. Actually, worse. The have the ability to help make the present better for everyone but instead devote all time and resources to speculate on the future.

The thing about AI I feel like people aren’t being honest about is HOW it destroys thing. The first step is coming very very soon, and is the real reason for all the “whistleblowers”. Within the next 5 years, everything you do (without a VPN or Tor) will be connected to you and searchable/tracked. That is Internet activity, location, financial transactions, ad info, dating profile, Flock activity, etc.. The congregation and sorting of data is what is the issue, and the facial recognition has gotten insane over the past year.
 
As long as the friends along the way has a page dedicated to Avalon’s awkward masturbation videos, I’m okay with that
