People who want to be free to make whatever they want should just sell their products individually. People who want to be supported by subscription fees should make the content that is expected. It's not that complicated.
A musician doesn't have to make the songs their fans want. But they also aren't supported in advance by the fans. They go in a studio, make an album and if it sucks it doesn't sell. If it's good it does. That "artistic freedom" comes with risk.
These women want "ArTiStIc FrEeDoM" but they don't want any risk. "Support me with a subscription in advance, but don't complain when I decide on a whim to change what I make". Sigh.
