Might be in the minority but I think this was a long time coming, frankly I'm glad about it. If I wanna watch asmr, I don't wanna be bricked up you know? Otherwise I'd just watch porn. Folks like lunarexx needed to be banned months ago tbh
 
Waiiiit holup, if Youtube can ban OF women who hide it through several links, then isn't Glow possibly at risk in a similar way?

It takes 3 clicks to get to said content, and the first thing I see rn when I open her Patreon are the spit painting videos.
If Glow has a Discord, she should use that to better mask her tracks, or even rename those videos and change thumbnails at least, cuz I wouldn't trust youtube AI algorithm atp.
So something like: Youtube -> linktree -> Twitch -> Discord -> Patreon
Instead of: Youtube -> linktree -> Patreon
I have a feeling risky creators in general are going to use Discord like this from now on. I doubt evil Youtube AI robots can breach the protective barrier of Discord, especially when goddess Glow has her soldiers at the front gates protecting her Discord castle.
 
This doesn't put you in the minority, this puts you on a desert island. First of all censorship is a crime against humanity and therefore banning and moderation should only be used as absolutely necessary, sexy ASMR does not fall into that category. Appealing to advertising giants and the whims of bureaucratic overlords is not necessary. Second, if you want ASMR without your dick getting hard try the thousands of ugly content creators, they've always been there.
 
I fail to see how youtube finally enforcing TOS is censorship when they themselves accepted said TOS. Obv I don't think all of them should've been banned, but a good portion of them were essentially doing softcore. Wanna get your rocks off? Go to their OF, I don't wanna see that shit on youtube though, time and a place. (also censorship only applies to the government)

Dude, forget it. It's ridiculous seeing people cry foul over 'free speech' and 'muh first amendment' when dealing with a massive private corporation like Youtube :LUL:peepoShrug:
 
Two things to be said here. Censorship is censorship. Government variety isn't the only one that exists. You just need to take a look at the whole VISA and Mastercard debacle. Massive monopolies deciding what people can or cannot buy with their money, deciding what content platforms can host.
Also, youtube shows you what you are likely to spend time watching. If it was recommending risque ASMR to you, it's because you watched risque ASMR. It also gives you the mechanisms to not see that content, since you can block whole channels from ever being recommended to you.
So both points being presented by previous posters are dumb. If you don't want to "see that shit on youtube" then stop looking for that shit on youtube.
 
I really just miss when ASMRtists would come to a new video with a bunch of new little knickknacks they bought at the store because they were really trying to find things that made interesting sounds to try to trigger your tingles.
That in itself leads me to a whole rant on when ASMR got co-opted to be about "relaxation," instead of the tingles people get that are true ASMR. When it became more about relaxation than tingles is when it exploded in popularity and became a business where everyone wanted to do the same thing (trends) and no one was creative anymore. No one invested time and energy when they simply had to whisper ramble or copy the same noises everyone else was doing.
I'd rant some more but I just woke up and I really don't have all my thoughts straightened out yet.

I only watch her French channel videos. The main channel lost all effort a long time ago. I think the once a month format suits Sharon's desired effort level.
 
On a side note, she didn't upload all of the spit painting videos that got bopped. Particularly the first one which is arguably the best one. Can't say I'm surprised, she's ridiculous.
