Don't go by videos. Go by data. Data shows that the difference in average dick size between races is minimal. This is the study with the biggest data sample and the best methodology (no self measure bullshit)

yeah just to piggy back on Jeremy Long, didn't his (ex) wife commit suicide and that drove him into deep depression? He then went out with a friend who was trying to cheer him up. Jeremy drove while under the influence, crashed and his friend died. And that was that or so most people thought but then a few years back someone on one of the azn reddits posted that Jeremy Long had died and and posted a link to a news listing of deaths and it listed "Masayoshi Mukai" deceased but no cause of death.

Mostly agreed. My theory is the practice of blurring arose out of cock shame. The official history doesn't make much sense, and it's a retarded solution to the problem, because the viewer can obviously get a sense of the size regardless. But if you're familiar with the bizarre cultural procedures prevalent in Japan, it makes way more sense than any other explanation. The last part is a bit unfair. I've seen some decent looking guys in JAV, but they're definitely in the minority.

Anyway, all of this is a broader problem with AM porn. Not just JAV, and not just professional studio stuff either. I get so annoyed when I search through related subreddits. If optics are of any concern at all, it would be far better not to shoot at all than to shoot this kind of content. But there is a fundamental tension between narrow self interest and optics. And the same tension exists with viewership. A lot of guys want to see a fat/ugly/old/small dick guy fuck a hot girl or just any girl at all, so you get the result that we have. I often wish there was a separate term from 'AMXF' because it's so flooded with bad content. There's already a strong pattern with the best looking couples deliberately avoiding using the term. These can be difficult discussions but they need to be had. That said, do not despair! There is more quality amateur AMXF content than ever in history, and it's growing.

I mean, with anime Japanese people imagine the characters being Japanese, but everyone else imagines them as white. A lot of it has to do with the names, doesn't matter if the character has blonde hair and blue eyes, if they have a Japanese name they are considered Asian. While Westerners don't make that same connection, and a lot of Japanese people don't realize that.

Obviously it's the law. Although, waisetsu law doesn't formally mandate genital blurring. It doesn't even mention genitals, and never did. The practice was arrived at somewhat organically by self-regulatory organizations set up by the porn studios, and negotiated via police enforcement and the outcomes of various court cases over time. But the question still remains *why* blur genitals? Why did the practice even start to begin with? There's a bunch of scholarly literature on the topic, and like 7 or 8 competing explanations, none of which are actually satisfying. You can just google or ask AI to explain the history to you if you're curious.

Anyway, you actually made two separate claims and they're both straight up wrong.

1. "Censorship means the producers can technically claim that the sex was simulated." This is objectively not true. There were more than one high profile cases over the years where people were prosecuted for uncensored artistic nudes (no sex acts or implied sex acts). In the early era of "pink film" (Cinemax-style softcore movies) they did rely on camera angles to claim simulated sex. But mosaicking only started after "honban" (full penetration hardcore) porn started to come out. "honban", fact of full unsimulated penetration was an OVERT selling point. Like this literally, logically cannot be the case.

2. "Female actresses want their pussies blurred so they don't get in trouble in their home country." But then you point to another actress who (obviously) did uncensored tapes outside Japan. Not to mention the scores of western pornstars who have done work in Japan. Mosaicking has nothing to do with them, and the practice started long before any of this.

Porn production is fully illegal in pretty much every Asian country except for Japan and Taiwan. South Korea has basically the same laws as Japan, but in practice it's pretty much banned.
