I don't know what the real story is, and I doubt we will ever know.
Here are a few of my takes on possibilities.
1. She told a psychologist it's "All an act". She knew the cash was going to eventually dry up and faked the abuse thing to garner simpathy and increase her cash flow. She said she was going to kick him out and explorer other career options, yet even after supposedly "being free" she goes right back to OF.
2. We have a Depp/Heard situation and Amouranth is playing the victim. It's possible he's rarely shown because she's wanting the entire thing to be all about her, and maybe he has finally gotten sick of it. He threatened to basically "blow all her money". While I can't mentally put myself in that situation, wouldn't you rather keep the cash, and not set it on fire? I personally think she wanted to keep the marriage a secret to keep the income steady.
3. She originally did love/marry Nick but all the money went to her head and she thinks she can do way better now and wants to drop him to date some famous actor or something. The kind of cash she's making can fuck a person up mentally.
In regards to the first one..I also think it's possible people were learning of how much/often she scams (due to leaks) and revenue was going down, which is the perfect time to fake abuse in order to garner attention.
Again..I can't judge because we don't know all the facts. These are just possibilities.

1.) yes, she faked his outbursts, threatening to kill her dogs, leveraging finances, trying to coerce her into threesomes...not once, but at this point twice
2.) he threatens to burn the money as a leverage to keep her under control. He tells her: If I can't have it, no one will
3.) If she wanted to drop him, why didn't she after the phone call, when she had all the sympathy on her side? The money went to his head, that's the reality.
4.) the revenue only started to go down after the reveal, so this doesn't even make sense. (how many people do you think unsubbed once they learned that she is abused? I bet a ton).

ll give you a good idea what king of guy he's like. sometimes he's just in her offline chat just talking, even to himself. i saw him a few times just passive aggressively comment how if he left she wouldn't care. or how he feels the need to reply to each person in her chat. half the chat would sometimes be him typing to whoever.

I thought the one before was much better, although it was mostly hot tub smash or pass shit she seemed to be having a laugh, viewers were pretty good and she didn't check that dumb pink phone hardly.
