She fell off and is not really talked about anymore and all her attempts to break into music and acting flopped. That fact that she was able to even have a career for like 3-4 years based on lipsyncing on TikTok is amazing. But she was always on borrowed time.
 
Nah. Her management will try and push her and buy Rolling Stone covers, but the odds of her ever making it beyond TikTok are very low given she is well off her peak popularity. Her TikTok heyday was 2018-20. And we are a loooong way from that. Same thing with Charli and Dixie D'Amelio.
Everyone wants to be the next Billie, Sabrina, and Chappel. But those acts sometimes took 10 years to make it. They are also very talented and can sign. People that got popular by being pretty teenagers lipsyncing to popular music, don't have much of a track record of being able to go beyond that. Nessa Barrett is trying but even she is still seen as a TikTok girl trying to be a pop star and not taken that seriously.
 
I think the comparison with Charli is wide of the mark lol
She's been cultivating her style for a while and finally gotten success from it, Addison just seems boring musically and tries to create hype with magazine covers and wearing stupid outfits. She's hot though.
 
Define success. I know they sold some food products but I am not seeing them in stores anymore. And both Dixie and Charli's music flopped. It feels like the D'Amelios peak was a few years ago with their reality show, and they are barely talked about now. When you get your fame from social media you have a very brief time to do anything with it and make your money. It's even shorter when you get your fame from a meme like the Hawk Tuah girl.
This is probably Addison Rae's last chance to do anything with what's left of her social media fame. If her management can't turn her into a pop star with this album, it's over. Cause a lot of her social media fame has died down over the years. You can see comments on her TikToks saying, wow it's been a long time since you popped up on my feed and wow, I used to be obsessed with you when you were big in 2019. That is the kiss of death in social media. There are always going to be newer, cuter, and younger stars coming up.
Then we will see what she does. Cause that would be the time to either do a crypto dump or make an Onlyfans and get as much money as possible before it is truly over.
