Does the delete button not work on goonbox? I tried deleting a test picture but the delete button is greyed out.

I assume you're on mobile? can you share what browser you're using?

yeah, though about it actually. will be changed.

It doesn't work on either my phone or my computer. I'm using Firefox, but even switching browsers didn't help

its possible that your IP address is blocked or some other security rule is not letting you access, i have no other idea, this is not a widespread issue. try using a VPN and maybe changing your DNS servers.

update:

  • removed rounded borders from most image containers
  • homepage is getting reworked and will be live within few hours prob

I asked if we could delete images back when they changed from jpg6 to goonbox, and i was just told "no".
You could try "requesting a removal" on your own images at the bottom of the page though. I got 30+ pictures that breaks their new rules, but i have to manually copy every link to every image in the request, so i haven't gotten around to try it yet. I don't really get why we can't just delete them ourselves...

Why is there a "keep me logged in" checkbox on the login page? It doesn't work. Not at all. So now I've lost my account because I never had a password that I had access to. I have a 12 word pass-phrase which I can't use either. Absolute shit site anyway. Nothing works the way it claims.

are you even reading what you're typing before you post something?

"i've lost my account because i never had a password that i had access to" (??????) -> "nothing works"

can you explain to me how not remembering your password and not saving your recovery words is our fault? :OMEGALUL:

Can you PLEASE find a way to fix animated .webp ? Pretty PLEASE. I can upload a 24 MB .GIF no problem but every .webp above 5MB that I try to upload to goonbox fail every time.
.Webps are far more efficient than .GIFs. They produce higher picture quality at a lower file size.

I think the issue is the 50 megapixels across frames restriction or the fact that goonbox only provide medium size BBcode.
I don't know. I'm not a web engineer.
I used to be able to make webp profile banners for threads and upload it to jpg6.su no problem so long as it was below the file restriction size of 15MB. Now the file size as been lifted to 25MB on goonbox and I can't even use it.

Getting this error when trying to use insert image/upload image button with GoonBox links. "Your content can not be submitted. This is likely because your content is spam-like, contains inappropriate elements or you are using an incorrect goonbox embed (just use the upload images button)" - well, I'm trying to do just that, but this error keeps appearing. It still worked fine yesterday, but now for whatever reason it no longer works - it is not picture-specific issue either, I tried with numerous ones (neither is there any text on the side to trigger some possible spam filter word combination, it's just GoonBox pictures). Something appears to have been broken : /

I have the same problem and probably a lot more people which are not aware they can write about it here (myself included until now), so I wouldn't agree it's not a widespread issue. In my case, browsing is always in private mode, hence there's no cache and I use always on VPN. So the same setup both on Chromium based browser and on Firefox based, yet on Firefox ones doesn't work.

I guess the problem is something related to a browser, rather than it being network related like a DNS. VPN works, so it's not IP address being blocked. Do you possibly have some idea what should be checked? In my case avatars are not shown either, so I assume they are hosted on goonbox as well. In my case, for your avatar I see animated mask and copium bottle, not the avatar itself.

Some of the images I uploaded, doesn't show the normal 3 "Embedding Codes options" just a Thumbnail code which won't embed the image to a thread.
Like this one below.

The screenshot is okay though.

because on the old post we used the mediums, not the thumbnail versions of the images. the lack of depth is purely due to the lower resolution.

there isn't much difference between the mediums and thumbnails when you're vieweing them in a 200px box (forum previews) , so we just did that change. this also speeds up the threads page loading time by a lot.

I'm more frequently running in to posts where the thumbnails do not link to the correct upload on goonbox, making a bunch of the content in the post inaccessible. I know this could be avoided if people just bothered to organise and share a gallery link but many don't.

I guess the question is, is broken linking a goonbox issue or are people somehow managing to mess up copy and pasting their links?
