Is it possible to make the albums appear in alphabetical order by default in every section please?
 
I've searched the thread for keywords and haven't found any questions about this...
Just a minor issue, but when uploading images from smartphone, they don't keep their original name, even with the 'Keep original filenames' option enabled.
I don't know if it's something on the host, or if it's just me (because the same thing happens to me on Turbo).
If I upload from a PC, there is no issue.
 
getting this .json bug too when trying to direct download any image from goonbox on mobile

tried turning vpn and content blockers on/off, no difference
 
My previous support message got deleted, discarded as "You can delete images from the button on bottom of the page" which I can't see. I can only see one when I try to click on 3 dots on the image and that delete button is not clickable
 

Normally when i click on Upload it shows the image right away but with some images i get only this link to be shown.
I tried to copy the BBCode aswell, same outcome just a different link.

For example the screenshot i just posted in this answer worked fine again.
 
Probably because its so tiny.
You dont need such icons in your post anyway, they just take up unecessary space.
 
im an opera user, but ive checked in edge and chrome with no success. "image hidden by host. click to view" on all the thumbnails. the whole point of thumbnails was that you could preview the image to see if you wanted to click on it. there's gotta be a way to fix it.

Of course i dont need them, though i thought they make a post look a little better.
 
Goonbox doesn't seem to be working properly for me; the images here won't load, and on Goonbox, it shows “image unavailable” for every image
 
it will be relaxed a bit soon, there has been extensive scraping of the "/img/" endpoint (its currently ~40% less requests due to the CF check)

try to clear your browser cache

we'll make it so it remembers your last sorting preference

this will be added after the next big update, which is coming prob today
 
Thank you! Will it work like Turbo, so that even the drop down/"Add to Album" lists are alphabetical?

Those other changes are much appreciated!

Only other thing I want to ask while you're here is 24 albums instead of 12 on the (My Gallery) albums page?
 
for how long will goonbox be down? can we use any other alternatives in the meantime to upload pics?
 
it will be down for ~1 more hour.

Upcoming changes:

  • Monthly upload limits have been added to accounts, before anyone says anything: only 20-30 accounts are currently over this limit, so it's going to be unnoticeable for "normal" users. This is also not something that we'll be heavily enforcing, so you can always create another account to bypass it, but we wanted to add something that discourages users that use goonbox for cold storage (some individuals have TBs worth of images, which is fine by us, but storing it for years takes its toll).
  • Upgrade plans are available in your profile page.
  • Upgraded users have an early access to the AI generations section of the site - image and video creations with all of the latest models and some handpicked loras.
  • Upgraded users have no ads.
  • More eye candy options, incl. avatars, username effects, custom banners for your public profile page, background patterns for images and albums created by you.

Planned (coming within a week or so):

  • Small rework of the top navigation and mobile menu
  • Rework of the homepage
  • "Goonbox" banner for upgraded users that connect their goonbox accounts to the forums
  • A standalone app, which you can download for an easier access to your albums and images - view and download your images and albums directly on your PC (w/ direct upload support being planned as well). This is going to be available for all users.
  • The issue with the bbcode of uploaded images not getting inserted when you're creating a new thread will be fixed in the next update.

Clearing the browser's cache didn't help.
I tried uploading images, and they uploaded successfully, but even with those images I still had the same issue “image unavailable”. When I tried to download an image, I was redirected to a blank page with the message “not allowed"
