just rename the file and add ".mp3" at the end and that should do it.

i don’t remember exactly how i did it but it involved using the iphone mirroring app on macbook and then either screenshotting or screen recording your macbook

Here’s a link to a relevant thread. I used to do it with an extension but that doesn’t work anymore, but according to this there are other methods people have used that work.
 
i did it months ago by mirroring my iphone onto my macbook and either screen recording or screenshotting on my macbook
