I don't think you're any shittier than any of us for feeling envious of the winner, it's a normal thing to feel.

Here's some unsolicited advice:
1. Don't give a reason to your emotions
2. You feel an emotion, you aren't the emotion
So, yes you feel envious, but you're not envious, and that's it, no need to put on any other labels.

That's "If I can't have it nobody must have it" mentality... Not gonna say anything about that, but personally I prefer to buff a weak character than nerfing OP ones.
Take all the time you need. Who knows? maybe you'll return being more into her after seeing how she generous she is.
 
You guys arguing over something so un-important to me, while I just wish Menace made some actual real ASMR with triggers again like she did in the past.

Does nobody miss her ASMR content like I do? :SadgeCry:
 
She still does on patreon. How about focusing on that and not on something you don't like.
 
That ASMR is different from what she used to post, it's very RP heavy these days. Which I assume is what her Patreon fans tend to enjoy more.
Her old YT stuff was more trigger focused and I found that easier to sleep along with compared to RP heavy stuff with story and lore.

I guess you could sum it up to, ASMR focused to people who are awake but doing stuff vs ASMR for sleep.
 
Then go on YouTube. There's plenty of Vtubers and regular folks who does the traditional stuff.
 
If it helps, I would think of it more like this.

If two people go into a car dealership and one buys a more expensive car, they aren't getting extra attention or special treatment. Whoever buys the mic is engaged in the exact same relationship you have with menace, which is a person buying a product. They just bought a more expensive product.

For me at least, Menace has been the gold standard of treating all her viewers the same. She doesn't have VIPS, she doesn't read donations/have tip goals, and she hadn't (until really recently) even done PPV content.

If her level of monetization is making you feel bad, I genuinely think that this kind of product may not be for you, because it would be hard to find anything less aggressive than the way she does it.
 
I know there isn't use blowing against the wind here, but it isn't healthy for anybody to form an overly emotional attachment to somebody you will never meet. Like them for their content, get your emotional comfort elsewhere. I don't envy whoever is gonna waste who knows how much money for some grimy rubber ears and some panties.
 
They're entertainers selling a product. You're a customer.

If one customer pays more than another, they're going to get more of the product. That's just how paid entertainment works.

You don't have to like that model, obviously. But there's nothing inherently unfair about a VTuber giving more attention to someone who financially supports them more heavily. They're not your friends providing equal attention to everyone, they're entertainers running a business.

They can genuinely appreciate and care about their community, but that doesn't change the fact that the relationship is ultimately built around providing (paid) entertainment to an audience.
 
You hear quite a few vtubers and others talk about how they were neets at one time or another but honestly Menace is one of the few I actually believe was a neet
 
I don't believe a single word from Megbert, I learnt that lesson about 5 years ago.
Just enjoy the gooning despite how much of a liar and manipulator she is.
