Can anyone explain what all the drama is with this girl on Threads today? I get that they bullied her off the platform because someone gave her a Switch or whatever, but it seems like there might be more to it than that. Everyone on Threads is just agreeing with each other and talking about "chicken allowance", whatever the hell that means.

From what I understand, for the past few months (maybe the past year) a random follower had been sending her $10 to $20 dollars a month as a "chicken allowance"; basically money to buy a rotisserie chicken. She then made a post saying that the chicken allowance hadn't been coming in for the last couple of months but that she wasn't upset or anything. Then a few days later she posted that another anonymous follower sent her $500 for a Switch 2. From there I guess people got jealous and started harassing her and she temporarily deactivated her Threads account. She's back on Threads again though.
