Btw, i dont need female characters to look 1000 out of 10. I dont really care. Thats not why I play games. Im just showing an example from someone at playstation, with a pretty high position talking about this subject. But I do think theres an effort being done, to go out of their way to "uglify" in some sort of way to get back at "gamers" or whatever.
Look at how the "gaming press" went after stellar blade (btw, didnt play, nor I will). Simply because of the main character being hot.
But I do think it comes from their specific political views. Now, are they meeting behind close doors to plan this or that? Probably not, who knows, but I think is easy to see a pattern, both in the games, and how the games media reacts to either side of the argument.

Again, I didnt play it, and I dont care about it, not my type of game. but I did see the reaction to it and it wasnt because it was jus a mid game.
