Introduction
This script can download the contents of many posts on the forum including locally hosted attachments and files on some external hosts such as goonbox.cr, pixl, cyberdrop, bunkr, pixeldrain and others.
The script adds a download button alongside every post and a download all button at the top of every page which will download every post on the page.

Installation
- Install the latest version of tampermonkey from here:
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/tampermonkey/dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo?hl=en
- Follow these steps to enable scripts:
https://www.tampermonkey.net/faq.php#Q209
- Click on the icon up near the web address bar (1) (you may have to click the puzzle piece to see it if its hidden) and then select 'Create a new script...' (2)

- Paste in the latest version of the script from here into the editor field overwriting the default template

- Select File then Save

- Go to settings (1), change 'Config mode' to 'Advanced' (2)

- Then scroll down to 'Downloads BETA' (1) and change the option to 'Browser API' (2)

You should then see a download button alongside every post and at the top of every thread on the forum (you need to refresh any open tabs after installing), just hit the download button and the tool will download all media it can from the post/thread.

Weird Zip Names
If zips download with a weird filename i.e. f81dfbdc-eb8b-4b37-8bb5-5100d498e2f6.zip then you should disable any download managers such as downthemall, free download manager, Ant Download Manager etc., refresh the page and try again.
You may need to completely uninstall those download manager extensions.

Followed along but still getting empty zip files... the zip files are only 1KB. Any advice on how to get it to work? Thanks

Any idea why the files would be named like that without the thread title?
The title isn't weird ("Diora Baird" for these two) so I don't think it's a weird character.
The zips seem to have images so it is working, just naming it odd.

How can I download them just as pic not the zip?
And thank you so much!
Have settled.
If anyone wants to know, just search the figure "createZip" and change the "truth" to "false".

Is there a way to change the default download directory?
I had a look through the code and I can't see anywhere it specifies where, so I'm assuming it just uses Chrome's default download directory?

it doesn't work for saint.to, does it? actually, how do you easily download from that site? it's pretty dogshit honestly and should be removed from preferred hosts

that doesn't show on chrome. just shows "play", "unmute", "fullscreen" and "fluid player"
edit: ah, have to use an enable right click script. fair enough.

Is it broken or doesn't work on firefox? I'm not getting any zip file in my download folder.

The Tampermonkey update is to blame. I tried fiddling with the settings but I couldn't get it to work. Install the older version and it will work again.

Ok, so TamperMonkey updated is the issue, but for those of us that run other scripts, rolling back to a previous version is only a short term solution. Also, I did a preliminary search, and I couldn't easily find the download for the previous Firefox version anyways. Is there a plan to update the script? This is a great quality of life tool.

How do I go back to the previous script? can't find it

There is no previous script, its previous version of tampermonkey you need.
If someone can figure out how to fix the problem the update is causing it would be most appreciated
