I don't think we'll ever know the answer but I don't think her saying that is a red flag when you consider the fact that she's had work done and that might have been more gentle way of saying "this is me before I messed with my face".
Example:
I actually went to High School with her... So she is young if you really wanted some confirmation with age... etc. Not related, but she wasn't very academically inclined.
