You mean to tell me you’re charging $15, $25, $50, and more per video, and the absolute best quality you give is the occasional 4k filmed on a phone or 1080p filmed from a webcam? Like, what are we doing?😭 At those prices, I feel like we should get some form of 2k or 4k resolution every time, not the webcam and its 30 fps. The "black screen" occurs because of Digital Rights Management (DRM).

Alternatively, if u still just want to screen record (good 'nuf for me tbh. Content > Fidelity any day!) and ur using your desktop pc, then make sure to turn off ur browser's "Hardware Acceleration" option (always on by default). That will bypass DRM and eliminate the black screen you see.

Firefox browser: (You WILL need to relaunch your browser for it to take effect)
1. Go to settings.
2. General tab and scroll down to the Performance heading.
3. Uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available".
Note: You will need to uncheck "Use recommended performance setting" to see the hardware acceleration option.

OR

1. Type: about:config (in the address bar)
2. Search for: media.hardware-video-decoding.enabled
3. Set it to false

Chrome browser: (You WILL need to relaunch your browser for it to take effect)
1. Go to settings.
2. Click System.
3. Toggle off "Use graphics acceleration when available".

OR

1. Type: chrome://flags/#disable-accelerated-video-decode (in address bar).
2. Set Hardware-accelerated video decode to Disabled.
