I've exchanged messages with her before, yes... whenever she released her first Tifa/Jinx sets, around two years ago I think, her only platform was Boosty. I messaged her on one of her social medias and asked if she would please consider selling her content on other platforms because I couldn't use Boosty. She replied and said she would think about it and, not long after that, she opened her Gumroad... a few more months later she opened her Patreon. I've always appreciated that she was willing to expand to other platforms outside of Boosty.
Beyond that, I've traded messages with her and she's always been perfectly polite and professional, and so have I. To be clear, I was always fairly transactional in my messaging and was obviously never pursuing some sort of bizarre parasocial relationship. I can say, however, that based on her tone, language and responses that I do think it was really her I was messaging... no agencies. She was never flirty or fake, she didn't push me to buy a bunch of stuff or send her tips, etc. It was a very positive interaction.
Having said that, I have no idea what exactly you mean by, "...opportunists, who don't care about their subscribers, as long as they pay." I mean, I don't know what else you would expect? Maybe she is really passionate about cosplay or maybe it's simply a means to pay the bills and she doesn't care about the characters or franchises at all but, either way, this is her work and how she supports herself, I presume. Why does she have to "care" about her subscribers? I don't expect the person who sells me food or clothing to care about me... why would we expect content creators to care?
She's a human being. I hope anyone who messages her is kind and polite because she is one of the best cosplay content creators out there right now, so please don't be a weirdo in the messages... that's honestly probably what drives most of the good creators like Alina Becker and Vinnegal to hide behind agencies. I can't imagine the shit they have to filter through in their messages... Just be cool, people!
