This is a tool for recording chaturbate streams via ffmpeg. Just paste the chaturbate streamer url, select a save folder, and record. It is simple, though I didn't see any other tools here for doing this, just browser extensions and addons and stuff like that.

I'm having this problem where the files are being saves as .mkv and not mp4. Could you update the mega link?
 
I downloaded Tampermonkey then installed a script called Chaturbate Enhancer.
It gives you the option of recording live streams, plus loads of other options.
 
Does it need to be mp4?
I made it record mkv because mp4 needs muxed AFTER the stream is finished, and if mp4 records are interrupted at any point you end up with unplayable garbage. You can transcode between mp4/mkv with no reencoding, the speed is only limited y how fast your hard drive can write data... if you really want it to be mp4.
 
Are you having issues with CTBREC stopping recordings randomly, checking log file shows:
java.io.IOException: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect
Just making sure its not only me.

If you are doing this on windows, you could make it look through the the link saved in the clipboard and use that performer name.
All the tools are pretty much the same, the only thing they differ on is the link they use to pull the m3u8 link.
I could be wrong, but the heart of the application should be using ffmpeg.
if you have any question on how to create your own tools with ffmpeg hit me up and I'll point you in the right direction. (Windows only, linux people you should know already)
 
If you mean my tool in the op, it already does that, you can paste the username or url, there is a paste button right beside the input.
 
No, what I meant was that the button could directly read from the clipboard without having to paste. Then again some people might need to see what they are pasting in.

What button? The 'paste' button does exactly that, to the right of the username/url input button. It reads from the clipboard, you don't have to ctrl-v and paste manually... It is in the most recent version on the mega link, though it is not particularly recent, it's been in there for 5 months now.
My original mega link is wrong, though people have been accessing the files somehow to the point the transfer limit is always reached. pretty sure I edited the op back then to fix it, but I think the last forum wipe reset it back to being wrong.

Does anyone have some good ffmpeg settings to use with x265 on CTB?
I have tried
-c:v libx265 -c:a copy -movflags faststart -pass 1 -y -f mpegts
but CTB crashes at random times.
Anyone had any luck with other configs?
 
I don't know what CTB is, but I know about ffmpeg some.
What is the full ffmpeg command? That alone can't be right, there is no input or output. I'll assume CTB is filling those in for you, but even so, I don't understand why you have "-pass 1" for recording a stream. That's for 2-pass encoding, I don't think it alone without a "-pass 2" afterward even does anything. Try removing it.
If it still doesn't work you need to actually look at what errors are output by ffmpeg. Usually just googling that stuff leads you to a solution.
 
I can vouch for the StreaMonitor tool, used it in the past to automatically record dozens of livestreams (simultaneously). Of course it requires a bit commandline skills
 
lol does anyone know of a tool that one can use to access & record privates automatically?
like if you're in a model's fan club on stripchat and that grants your account spying privilege
i know ctbrec has something like that, but it always needs you to manually navigate and enter the model's room which is such a pain point lmao
 
even not auto, it exists tools to get pvt/ticket/etc... without beeing in it?
really interested in this.
 
no, you need to be in the specific model's fan club, and as part of the fan club, you can spy on a models's pvt shows, usually
at least that's how it works in StripChat
so, you do have to be 'in it'
-part of her fan club
-detect when she is in a pvt show and then click to enter/join the room

kind of related but does anyone know an easy way to download your saved videos in the "my collection" page?
