Was caught off guard seeing her say this on her YT channel vid, then i noticed that her YT membership (where she posts her more ecchi contents) is gone. She also dropped her "AV actress" occupation across her YT, Twitter, and IG bios (she still kept it on her Fantia and OF, tho).


Have been digging around to verify her statement but haven't found any news nor public announcement from her about it. Can anyone help and verify it?
 
In November she gave an interview in which she said that around May she was in a very bad mental state. After therapy and talking to people close to her, she decided to focus on what was most important to her, which was muscle training. She took a break from AV and wrestling and focused more on training, eventually deciding that 4 shootings a month was her limit (before she used to do up to 9 shootings a month).
As for her retirement, unless she makes a post about it, we won't know until July or so (based on the date of the video). She was at a protest against AV Law a few days ago, she will also be in SODLAND in a few weeks. On the other hand, she's always talked about how she doesn't fit the "JAV model" because of her body, and now she's even more focused on training since her goal for this year is to participate in a fitness competition, and wrestling will be even more inviting for a fit Chanyota, so who knows, retirement wouldn't be a surprise.
 
She got "banned" from STARDOM because of her AV status, didn't she? At least some time ago, now she wrestles for PPP. Even took her friends Sakura Fit and Mermaid Meat/maru (まる) to be on her corner on her latest match.
 
We don't really know. The ban stuff was around November in 2022, supposedly a sponsor was mad about her presence, but that came from the Observer and Meltzer sources in Joshi have always been questionable. She stayed away from STARDOM in November and December and did not return until late January.
To be fair, the end of the year at STARDOM is basically "Tag League" and "Year-End Tour," so it's possible they just didn't book her. She was a regular performer on STARDOM last year (she also debuted in Ice Ribbon), and she just had a pretty good match for the New Blood Tag Titles last month.
As for P.P.P., they're kind of her "main company", she started training with them, her debut was with them.
 
Where can I find info about her being at that protest? Was it on her YT?
 
She posted some stories on Instagram leading up to it. There's a tweet about it and some articles, but all in Japanese.
Some context: the law in question was passed in 2022, and it says that companies can only shoot one month after the contract for the scene/movie is signed, and the scene/movie can only be released four months after production is completed. It's fine for the new actress (with uncertainty and all), but the veterans lost a lot of contracts, that's why they are protesting (I think there was over 100 actresses, between active and retired).
 
Oh, the video features the legendary Mikako Abe. It could very well be about her, she retired in 2021 (after 10 years in the game) but stayed in the public eye (I think she even has a gaming channel).
 
Well ideally it could be a mistranslation as automated translations translating JP > EN language tend to confuse the pronouns usage between the two (e.g. the "I'm" sometimes could've been "You're / she's"), but the full context is about the preps before shooting with Chanyota saying something along the lines of "Well i'm now retired, but in the past i used to do......".
... It just didn't look convincing that she's not talking about herself at that moment all around, tbh....
 
She hasn't been booked on Stardom shows simply because she doesn't work there.
She's a part time freelancer and makes appearances in many different promotions (as is the case with the majority of joshi). She was never on the Stardom roster. Stardom sometimes brings in freelancers for a show or two, and they run the occasional NEW BLOOD shows where freelancer rookies go up against Stardom girls. Most have only been booked on one or two or those shows.
 
She did an interview back in February (it just came out a few days ago), she doesn't mention retirement, but she does say that she only shoots two times a month at most (for comparison, she used to shoot 8-9x, and after her hiatus the limit was 4). So she may not be retired, but AV is dropping in her priority list.
On a more positive note, she's on the next BakoBako bus tour, which comes out next month (?).

I stumbled more and more into vids of hers like this where she's not officially credited (either in the title or the cast lists), nor was it ever advertised it. I couldn't find the source either, so what are these vids? Is it some kind of an underground vid she's secretly done?
 
Yeah i just watched that too. It's a very good interview, and overall a reassuring one for me.
My key takeaway from it is; muscle training is now not only a hobby, but is the star for whatever gig she's decided fits the orbit. In other words, every work she's doing is the productive extension of the results of her muscle training, such as;
  • AV
  • Wrestling
  • YouTubing
  • Coaching
  • (In the future) Opening her own gym
So with that set in stone, i think it'll make too much sense if she doesn't retire and just keep doing AV works 'cuz not only it fits her newfound principle, she clearly enjoys it.
And i can't wait for her BakoBako vid, looks like it's gonna be her horniest one yet. So it's all good news as a fan for me!
 
I don't really get it. In this case, this scene was released back in April 2022 as IMGN-035, and she's credited as "Chi", as in the link you posted. Then, last November, they released SETM-006, which is four scenes (including this one) movie by four different actresses, but none are credited.
This happens quite often, off the top of my head in MARH-003 and MARH-003 she's "Chan-san", in SEF-002 she's "YOTA", which is fine, but then in SIRO-4798 she's "Misaki". Maybe the producers want to create an "amateur vibe" for the actress, so they give her a fake name.
 
Unless it's well hidden, she never worked for one of the companies that publish uncensored videos. Nor was she part of the big leak in 2021.
 
ohhh, I remember the wave of uncensored leaked, did they just caught or the server of JAV is relocate or something
 
I've never seen a concrete answer to that. Some people said it was one guy who had everything, others said it was a server problem. I assumed that it was just speculation and never looked into the discussions.
 
Yeah i generally love "amateur" JAVs more as it just feels more intimate seeing a star do as their actual horny self which just makes it hotter. Speaking of the vids you mentioned, i can't find any full vids of MARH-003. Do you have a mirror of it?
 
Just found another one of her uncredited vids, this time it's brand new. Looks really good, but couldn't find a full vid of it anywhere. Anyone can help?
 
Oh, i forgot about that. For some reason you can't find MARH-003 by itself, you have to search for HOISW-019 which is the code for the full 3-4 hour movie. Her scene is like 1 hour and 40 min. I remember finding just her scene, but only as HOISW-019.
