Update on the Removal of the AI Section
We typically receive several deletion requests monthly for the “fakes” section, from both lawyers and the individuals depicted. We approve all such requests and they're always deleted, so contrary to popular discussion, we are not currently facing any legal issues.
The section was removed because lawmakers are increasingly targeting AI-generated media that includes real people without their consent (how they know which person has given consent and who didn't is a topic for another day ig).
Although we initially left the “AI workflow” node public, it was also removed after users began posting deepfakes there. The AI thread dedicated to “not real people” will be made public soon for the AI enjoyers. We plan to also extend this to the LoRA models node, assuming users comply to the rules.
Any users posting deepfakes in the “not real people” thread or other AI sections will face account strikes and content removal. These areas will be strictly monitored and moderated.

- A bot detection system was added to SimpCity. It triggers captchas on excessive activity (browsing, searching, etc.), regular users should rarely trigger it more than once per session. The system is far more extensive, but obviously I wont explain how it works in details. We've allowed sites to scrape us for years, but it's getting ridiculous nowadays.
- During the upcoming week we'll start banning datacenters in the US, Europe and Asia from accessing our services - both for SimpCity and GB. Mentioning it in case some of your VPNs are impacted, proton & mullvad should be fine.
- Strike 1 - 24 hour ban
- Strike 2 - 1 week ban
- Strike 3 - Permanent ban of the account
